According to new figures from the U.S. Department of Commerce, the U.S. gross domestic product grew 4.9% during the third financial quarter.
This represents a slight downtick from the department’s previous 5.2% growth estimate.
However, this still marks America’s most robust third quarter GDP growth in two years.
Meanwhile, the Commerce Department revised its Q3 consumer spending estimate down from 3.6% to 3.1%.
