On Friday, pilots from United Airlines approved a new contract deal with potential raises of up to 40.2% over four-year contracts.
The contract reportedly passed with an 82% approval vote with a 97% turnout from Air Line Pilots Association union members, said the ALPA.
The ALPA went on to say that the deal is worth approximately $10 billion in total.
The move comes after U.S. airline giants American Airlines and Delta Air Lines each passed their own significant labor deals with pilots earlier in the year.
