On Saturday, the United Auto Workers labor union announced the ratification of its tentative contracts with U.S. auto-making giants Stellantis and Ford.
According to the UAW, 69% of the union’s members at Ford and Stellantis plants voted in favor of ratifying the deal.
This marks a significant increase in approval compared to the UAW’s recently approved contract with fellow Big Three automaker General Motors, which passed through with 55% approval on Thursday.
The series of deal approvals ends any possibility of the UAW returning to the picket line over contract disputes.
