As workers on the Las Vegas Strip prepare for a potential walk out on Friday, the area’s Culinary union announced a tentative deal has been stuck with Caesars Entertainment on Wednesday.
The deal will reportedly cover 10,000 of the union’s members employed across nine of Caesars’ properties across the strip.
“Team members will see meaningful wage increases that align with our past performance, along with continued opportunities for growth tied to our future plans to bring more union jobs to the Las Vegas Strip,” Caesars said in a statement.
However, the union is still poised to stage a strike against nine other Las Vegas casinos come the end of the week.
