On Monday, technology giant Google agreed to pay more than $700 million in restitution for implementing monopolistic practices into its proprietary Google Play app store.
The company will specifically pay out $630 million in compensation to users affected by its app store policies.
Approximately 102 million Americans will be eligible to receive payouts starting at $2 from the settlement.
Google will also be required to allow increased competition in the Google Play store moving forward.
