According to the Red Bull Racing CEO Christian Horner, the continued success of Red Bull’s racing team in Formula 1 has led to an increase in sales of its eponymous energy drink.
Red Bull Racing won 19 out of the 20 F1 races held this year thus far, giving massive exposure to the energy drink in turn.
“What we do for the Red Bull brand, for the energy drink in advertising the product globally for 23 race weekends a year, we’re the biggest marketing impact that the beverage company has,” said Horner.
Red Bull currently holds a 13% global market share of the energy drink sector, second only to Monster Energy.
