On Wednesday, U.S. automaking giant Ford recalled more than 112,000 of its signature F-150 trucks.
According to a filing with the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, the vehicles in question may have a defective axle bolt that could cause the trucks to roll away while parked.
Owners of affected vehicles can take their F-150s to a local vehicle for a temporary fix while Ford works on a long-term solution to the bolt issue that will be “shared with dealers and customers soon.”, the company said.
Ford previously recalled 870,000 F-150s in 2023 due to faulty parking brakes.
