Reimagining cloud operations

Cloud operations are entering a new era of intelligence, and RISE with SAP and Microsoft Azure are leading the change together. The two companies are co-developing AIOps agents that are engineered to deliver resilience, agility, and operational excellence at scale.

For more than three decades, SAP and Microsoft have partnered to shape enterprise technology and drive innovation. In 2025, this partnership accelerated with initiatives such as the Global Acceleration Program for RISE with SAP on Microsoft Azure, the SAP Business Suite Acceleration Program with Microsoft Cloud, and the launch of the RISE high SLA offering on Microsoft Azure.

Together, these initiatives set the stage for the next phase of collaboration: intelligent cloud operations powered by specialized AI agents. Designed for RISE systems on Microsoft Azure and orchestrated through SAP’s internal Agentic AI Hub, these agents keep environments continuously optimized, secure, and ready to meet modern enterprise demands.

This evolution addresses a growing operational challenge. Enterprises running SAP workloads at scale require a level of excellence that traditional monitoring cannot deliver. The answer lies in autonomous, intelligent agents that proactively detect, diagnose, and resolve issues before they affect business operations.

For customers, this means fewer disruptions and faster resolution for RISE on Azure workloads that are critical to business success.

Introducing the Agentic AI Hub: Intelligence in action

With the Agentic AI Hub, we unleash the collective power of an ever-expanding federated agentic ecosystem, weaving diverse internal and partner agents into an orchestrated fabric of evolving intelligence that drives innovation at every layer.

Anish Shah, Head AI and Data Management CoE, SAP Enterprise Cloud Services

To realize the full potential of multi-agent systems, SAP is unveiling a central intelligence layer that brings together AI agents, applications, and users within a unified operational framework. The Agentic AI Hub removes silos and delivers seamless integration, precision, and scalability. Key capabilities include:

  • Coordinated agent collaboration: A unified architecture enables collective intelligence and helps ensure agents work together for maximum efficiency.
  • Personalized and secure access: Role-based access control provides frictionless yet secure entry aligned with enterprise security standards.
  • Unified application dock: Built on industry-standard protocols such as A2A, the hub offers a future-ready integration layer for SAP and partner-developed agents, supporting expansion as the AIOps ecosystem grows.

SAP and Microsoft: Shaping the future of intelligent operations together

This is a critical joint investment for us with RISE to deliver seamless, intelligent operations. We are now entering the next phase: co-building the foundation for autonomous AIOps agents that will redefine cloud operations.

Hiren Shah, Head of Products for SAP on Azure

RISE with SAP’s partnership with Microsoft Azure introduces the first partner-developed agents into the SAP Agentic AI Hub. These agents mark the beginning of a broader vision for the future of AIOps on Azure—one that will continue to evolve through joint innovation and collaboration.

The multi-agent ecosystem we’re building is designed to deliver:

  • Proactive issue detection and prevention.
  • Rapid troubleshooting and root cause analysis (RCA).
  • Automated remediation and self-healing.
  • Intelligent performance optimization.

The Azure configuration drift agent and RCA agent represent key milestones on this journey. Both are in active development and will extend the value of AIOps for RISE on Azure, enabling proactive, intelligent, and streamlined operations for mission-critical workloads.

Together, RISE with SAP and Microsoft Azure are building a unified intelligence fabric where every AIOps investment delivers measurable, coordinated value that continuously learns and adapts to meet the demands of the modern enterprise.
