Just weeks after its triumphant launch day, technology giant Meta’s social media app Threads had its active user count drop to an all new low.
The Twitter competitor has reportedly experienced an 82 percent decline in active users since the platform’s release day as of July 31.
Threads’ active user count previously peaked one day after launch at 49 million, and fell to just 11 million active users by July 29.
Despite the sharp decline, Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg has said he is still “quite optimistic” about the future of Threads.
