When it comes to collectible brands using his likeness, National Basketball Association superstar LeBron James is proving the ball is still in his hands.
After two decades with trading card company Upper Deck, James has elected to officially switch over to a partnership with rival company Fanatics Collectibles.
The multiyear deal is reportedly worth more than $5 million per year and will see new autographed James cards enter the collectibles market in years.
With the Fanatics Collectibles deal also inclusive of James’ fellow basketball player son Bronny James, it looks like the trading card brand switch will be a slam dunk for the enter James family.
