Despite its renown as a dairy-filled powerhouse, it looks as if Kraft is coming for vegan consumers’ hard-earned cheddar.
The company is set to offer “Kraft NotMac&Cheese,” a plant-based version of its signature mac and cheese product, in grocery stores in coming months.
The product will come in two flavors, original and white cheddar with shells, at $3.49 a piece.
Though the dairy-free pasta may look very similar to Kraft’s original offering, it remains to be seen if the product can cater to vegan consumers’ taste buds.
