While charging an electric vehicle’s battery should theoretically be lightning fast, current charging infrastructure across the United States has made juicing up an EV’s power anything but.
According to a new survey by J.D. Power, American consumers are becoming increasingly dissatisfied with public EV charging.
Likewise, EV charging’s consumer satisfaction ranked lower than infamously difficult industries like telecommunications and cable.
It looks like adding more charging infrastructure could be the EV industry’s only light at the end of the tunnel to keep appealing to U.S. consumers.
