While December is known for its sluggish pre-holiday box office season, singer-superstar Beyoncé is planning on putting the U.S. box office through a complete renaissance.
A concert film covering the Texas singer’s blockbuster Renaissance tour is expected to play Thursday through Sunday in AMC Entertainment theaters nationwide beginning Dec. 1, beginning at $22 per ticket.
Beyoncé’s concert film announcement comes following fellow popstar Taylor Swift’s own Eras tour concert film, which is slated to release later this month after record-breaking presales.
With few movie offerings available throughout December, Beyoncé’s early-December Renaissance tour film means Christmas may just come early for music fans across the country.
