Walgreens Boots Alliance CEO Rosalind Brewer resigned from her position after three years in the post, the company announced Friday.
The decision was reportedly mutually made between the two parties.
Before her resignation, Brewer was one of only two black women to head a Fortune 500 company.
Walgreens Boots Alliance board member Ginger Graham has been tapped as the company’s interim CEO following Brewer’s departure.
