Rihanna is now worth $1.4 billion as the singer and entrepreneur became the youngest self-made billionaire woman in the U.S.

According to Forbes’ annual list of America’s richest self-made women the singer made the ranking for the third year in a row. The Barbados born singer is ranked 21st overall, and is the only billionaire under age 40.

The 34-year-old singer is also CEO of Fenty Beauty and owns 50% of the firm. The other half is owned by French luxury fashion conglomerate LVMH.

The company is divided into three retail companies. Fenty Beauty, Fenty Skin and Savage X Fenty.

According to a Bloomberg’s report, the lingerie firm Savage X Fenty was planning an IPO potentially valued at $3 billion. Rihanna owns 30% of that company.

The nine-time Grammy Award winner has said before that she never planned on making a fortune and that reaching financial milestones was “not going to stop me from working.”

According to Rihanna, her money can help other people. “My money is not for me; it’s always the thought that I can help someone else,” she said.

The next-youngest billionaire on Forbes’ list is 41-year-old Kim Kardashian, who has a net worth of $1.8 billion.
