Chipmaker Nvidia closed at a record high on Tuesday, jumping 4.2% following an announcement that the company has entered a partnership with technology giant Google.
“Our expanded collaboration with Google Cloud will help developers accelerate their work with infrastructure, software and services that supercharge energy efficiency and reduce costs,” said Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang.
Nvidia’s stock has risen 234% in 2023 alone as the company’s chips have helped to fuel the ongoing artificial intelligence craze.
The chipmaker is currently the best performing stock on the S&P 500.
