Today, Elon Musk admitted that he regrets “some” of what was written in his recent posts about President Donald Trump.
Following the Tesla CEO’s comments, the company’s shares bounced back by 2%.
In a post on X, Musk explained, “I regret some of my posts about President @realDonaldTrump last week. They went too far.”
Leading up to his apology today, Musk has increasingly softened his tone toward Trump and deleted some of his posts, including a claim that Trump appears in the Epstein files and another stating that Trump should be impeached.
Musk’s remarks come after President Trump’s comments admitting that he is “not even thinking about Elon” and wouldn’t be engaging in talk with Musk “for a while.”
The Tesla CEO initially started the online feud by referring to Trump’s ‘Big Beautiful Bill” as a “disgusting abomination.”
