Microsoft shook off recession fears with a second quarter report of record sales and profits on Tuesday.
The healthy numbers reflected the early impacts of its investments in generative artificial intelligence.
The company had $56.2 billion in sales in the three months that ended in June.
That number represents an 8 percent rise over a year earlier.
