It didn’t disclose the precise dollar amount for its latest investment. This decision is intended to sharpen Microsoft’s competition with Google in commercializing new AI breakthroughs.
OpenAI’s free writing tool ChatGPT launched on Nov. 30 and has brought public attention to the possibilities of new advances in AI. Among its many capabilities, ChatGPT can compose poetry on command. Its ability to generate content in the creative space is one of many areas that has garnered widespread public interest.
