As the war in Ukraine continues to rage, Lockheed Martin announced Tuesday that it expects to resume growth this year, reversing its earlier prediction that sales would shrink.

The company said that countries are increasing that military budgets, so global demand for weapons is uu.

Lockheed also said that its sales and profit in the second quarter beat expectations.

Other defense companies are due to report sales results next week.
