Jensen Huang of Nvidia was a late addition to President Trump’s trip to China this week, joining him alongside 15 other top executives who were also invited to participate in the visit.
The White House’s original list did not include the chipmaker, but the CEO boarded the flight during a refueling stop at Anchorage International Airport on Tuesday night.
Elon Musk of Tesla was already on board, a White House official told reporters.
Kelly Ortberg of Boeing is also expected to join the trip, as China is widely expected to announce additional purchases of Boeing planes and engines this week.

The president will attend a series of meetings through Friday. These talks are expected to focus on topics such as expanding AI communication and trade management.
