The U.S. National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has issued a series of product recalls connected to electrical wiring flaws, including more than 9,700 Mercedes-Benz sedans and over 100,000 Hondas.
The electrical failures have been linked to a loss of drive power when in motion and some fires.
Car owners should check their VIN numbers against the administration’s recall list to see if they are affected.
The recalled vehicles include:
- 2020-2021 Civic
- 2020-2023 Ridgeline
- 2021-2023 Passport
- 2021-2022 Pilot
- 2020 Acura MDX vehicles.
