The two candidates head to separate battlegrounds today in the final day of campaign before tomorrow’s election.
Today Kamala Harris returns to Pennsylvania, where she has spent much of the campaign. She will begin her appearances in Joe Biden’s hometown of Scranton before a rally in Allentown, one of the most competitive parts of the state. The Democrats will also stop in Reading and close out the day with rallies in Pittsburgh and Philadelphia. According to the campaign, the final rallies are rumored to include appearances from Lady Gaga in Pittsburgh and Katy Perry in Philadelphia.
Throughout the campaign, the Democrats have targeted Pennsylvania and view it as the most important state for their campaign – a state that holds the most uncertainty. Pennsylvania, a swing state, fell to Trump in 2016 but turned to Biden in 2020. Current polls show both Harris and Trump as neck and neck in the battleground state.
Today, Trump will divide his campaign through three of the most important states for Republicans – North Carolina, Pennsylvania and Michigan. According to the Trump campaign, former President Trump will hold rallies in Reading and Pittsburg before rounding out the day in Grand Rapids – the l final location in both of Trump’s previous campaigns.
Tomorrow, the first polls will close at 6:00 p.m. in parts of Kentucky and Indiana. It is reported that more than 75 million people have already voted.
