Adidas will begin an investigation into allegations of misconduct against Kanye West, after the sports apparel ended its partnership with the Grammy award winner in October.

According to an article in Rolling Stone Adidas board members ignored inappropriate behavior from the rapper, while he was working in its partnership with his Yeezy brand.

“It is currently not clear whether the accusations made in an anonymous letter are true. However, we take these allegations very seriously and have taken the decision to launch an independent investigation of the matter immediately to address the allegations,” Adidas said in a statement.

The alleged misconduct includes accusations of verbal abuse, bullying and offensive remarks and sexual harassment. The Rolling Stone states that West, who changed his name to Ye, played porn videos and shared explicit images during business meetings.

In a letter sent by former high-ranking employees to board members seen by the Rolling Stone they complained about “the toxic and chaotic environment that Kanye West created.”

Ye was under growing pressure for months. Then, on a podcast on Oct. 16 he said: “I can say anti-Semitic things, and Adidas can’t drop me. Now what?”,

The German company terminated its partnership with Ye the next week.
