According to new data from the Federal Reserve, U.S. household wealth has never been higher than in 2023’s second financial quarter.
Between March and June of 2023, consumer wealth and nonprofit wealth surged by 4%, or $5.5 trillion.
These upward trends subsequently placed U.S. household wealth at $154.3 trillion in Q2.
The Federal Reserve said the growing wealth was mainly due to rising stock and real estate values across the time period.
