On Saturday, U.S. chicken product manufacturer Tyson Foods issued a recall for 30,000 pounds of its chicken nuggets.
The recall affects Tyson’s frozen dinosaur shaped nuggets, specifically those sold in 29 ounce bags, with a “best used by” date of Sept. 4, 2024.
According to Tyson, small pieces of metal were discovered in the batch of nuggets in question.
The U.S. Department of Agriculture reported “one minor injury” associated with the recalled Tyson nuggets.
