Invitations for Tesla’s unveiling of its robotaxi autonomous car 10 October have been sent out to selected investors
The event will reveal an update of the company’s Full Self-Driving software and a demonstration on a closed course is expected. The robotaxi is also rumored to be similar to Tesla’s Cybertruck but without a steering wheel or pedals.
The event will be transmitted 7pm October 10 by livestream on Tesla’s social media platforms.
The Chinese city of Wuhan currently has a fleet of 500 robotaxis produced by Apollo Go a unit of tech giant Baidu which launched in 2022.
