Following record profits, Europe’s largest airline Ryanair is set to pay its investors regular dividends for the first time in its four-decade history.
Ryanair will reportedly hand out $429.8 million to shareholders across two planned payments next year, as well as shell out a quarter of yearly profits through regular dividends.
While Ryanair has previously paid out dividends to investors in the past amounting to $7.2 billion between 2008 and 2020, this marks the first time the company will pay out regular dividends.
Following the news, Ryanair shares soared nearly 7% during trading Monday.
