According to new reports, media giants Paramount and Warner Bros. Discovery are floating a potential merger.
Warner Bros. Discovery CEO David Zaslav and Paramount Global CEO Bob Bakish reportedly met to discuss the idea on Tuesday.
However, Warner Bros. is currently prohibited from making acquisitions until April 2024.
Spokespersons for both companies declined to comment on the merger rumors.
