Media veteran William Lewis has been chosen as the Washington Post’s new CEO, the newspaper announced Saturday.
The new selection is expected to begin his position on January 2, 2024.
Lewis’s resume includes time as the CEO of Dow Jones and the publisher of the Wall Street Journal.
“Leading this bold media brand means building on my commitment to championing high-quality journalism and safeguarding our democratic values, while growing The Post’s business and advancing its impact to the next generation and beyond,” Lewis said in a statement.
