Luxury car brand Rolls-Royce’s CEO Torsten Muller-Otvos is retiring from his role at the company after 14 years at its helm, Rolls-Royce announced Thursday.
Under Muller-Otvos’s tenure, Rolls-Royce’s sales grew by sixfold while lowering the average age of buyers from 56 to 43.
The soon-to-be-former Rolls-Royce CEO is also credited with establishing Rolls-Royce as a major celebrity brand.
Muller-Otvos is set to hand in the reigns to current BMW UK CEO, Chris Brownridge, on Dec. 1.
