Media giant Disney has hired longtime PepsiCo Chief Financial Officer Hugh Johnston as its new CFO, the company announced Monday.
Johnston previously served at PepsiCo for 34 years before taking over the reins as its CFO in 2010.
The former Pepsi executive will reportedly begin his new role on Dec. 4 and report directly to Disney CEO Bob Iger.
Johnston is set to take over from former Disney CFO Christine McCarthy, who resigned from her post earlier this year.
