According to data from Bloomberg New Energy Finance, U.S. consumers purchased 960,000 all-electric vehicles throughout the month of October in 2023.
With expected sales taken into account, this would push the number of pure EVs sold above one million nationwide.
This marks the highest number of EVs sold in the United States in one year alone.
Analysts say the amount of EV models available for purchase, which increased 40% year-over-year from the second half of 2022, contributed to the rise in American’s EV acquisitions.
