The United States added 336,000 jobs to the economy last month, the Bureau of Labor Statistics revealed Friday.
This marks a significant jump from August, which saw 227,000 jobs added to the economy.
The hospitality and leisure sector experienced the most growth in September with the addition of 96,000 new jobs.
However, the unemployment rate remained unchanged at 3.8%.
