Following more than a month of strikes, the United Auto Workers labor union has reached tentative deals with U.S. automakers Stellantis and Ford.
The UAW first struck a deal with Ford on Wednesday, just days after the union expanded its strike to one of the automakers’ most profitable facilities.
News of the union’s pending deal with Stellantis broke Saturday, with more than 14,600 UAW members expected to return to their jobs at Stellantis plants shortly.
However, the UAW elected to expand its strike against General Motors on Saturday after failing to reach an agreement with the final of the Big Three automakers.
