According to new data from the U.S. Department of Commerce, U.S. retail sales rebounded in November after sales took a tumble in October.
The numbers, which are adjusted for seasonal swings, noted a .3% uptick in retail spending during the month of November.
The increase represents a sharp contrast from analysts’ expectations of a .2% dip for the month.
Restaurant sales received the most significant increase across all registered industries, growing by a reported 1.6% in November.
