According to a new earnings report, U.S. automaking giant General Motors increased its domestic salesby 14.1% year-over-year in 2023 despite the negative financial effects of the United Auto Workers strike at the end of the year.
GM reportedly sold 2.6 million vehicles in 2023 versus 2.3 million sold in 2022.
This marks GM’s best sales year in the United States since 2019.
“GM has tremendous momentum,” said GM’s North American President Marissa West. “We grew our market share in 2023, maintaining strong pricing and low incentive.”
