On Thursday, U.S. automaking giant Ford Motors reported that its sales increased 7.1% during 2023, marking the company’s best year since 2020.
The company’s electric vehicle sales also increased by 18% between 2022 and 2023.
Ford reportedly finished in third place in U.S. vehicle sales behind Toyota and General Motors.
“In a year of challenges, from a labor strike to supply issues, our amazing lineup of gas, electric and hybrid vehicles and our fantastic dealers delivered solid growth and momentum,” said Ford CEO Jim Farley in a statement. “We have the products that customers want.”
