On Tuesday, the Dow Jones Industrial Average sank 430 points, marking the index’s lowest close since June.
Alongside the Dow’s 1.3% decline, the Nasdaq Composite fell 1.9% and the S&P 500 lowered by 1.4%.
The stock market declines came following Tuesday’s news that the U.S. Treasury yields reached the highest levels seen since 2007.
As a result of Tuesday’s closing, CNN’s Fear & Greed Index reached a 16, the lowest level since October 2022.
