With consumers across the globe eager to travel following the end of Covid-19 pandemic border restrictions, major cruise companies are reportedly raising their ticket prices in turn.
According to Cruise Critic, the average five-night Caribbean cruise cost for December increased 37% from the year prior, and up 42% from December 2019.
The rising ticket prices come as Carnival CEO Josh Weinstein revealed the cruise giant had reached record net revenue per passenger per day during Q3 2023.
According to Carnival executives, increasing demand for cruises has made the company “well-positioned to drive 2024 pricing higher.”
