In just two weeks, the ongoing strike by the United Auto Workers union has reportedly cost General Motors approximately $200 million, the company announced Wednesday.
The losses affected the tail end of GM’s third financial quarter, which ended Sept. 30.
As of last Friday’s expansion, UAW workers have gone on strike across 19 GM facilities nationwide.
Despite the strike-borne losses, GM still reported a 21% year-over-year increase in car sales during Q3.
