When it comes to Thanksgiving dinner this year, it looks like U.S. consumers and their tightening wallets will have a little something extra to be grateful for.
According to a survey conducted by the American Farm Bureau Federation, the average price of a Turkey is down 5.6% year-over-year, while cranberry prices have also fallen 18% since last year.
As a result, the average price of a Thanksgiving dinner is expected to be down 4.5% from 2022’s figures.
With significantly more bang for your buck during 2023 holiday dinner shopping, expect to leave your Thanksgiving meal feeling stuffed.
