According to a press release from Sony, “Marvel’s Spider-Man 2” has taken PlayStation Studios’ sales swinging to all new heights.
The newest installation of Sony’s superhero game reportedly broke the studios’ 24-hour sales record on the first day of its release.
The PlayStation 5 exclusive sold more than 2.5 million copies during its debut, said Sony.
However, Sony shares remained stagnant on Monday, showing the company’s recent video game success may not translate into increased investor confidence.
